·Pulley Wheels, Speed Systems, AERO Systems, Adventure Systems enjoy our lifetime warranty (non-transferable) to the original purchaser.
· This warranty
Covers the surface finish of the pulley and the wear of the pulley body.
For example: anodizing and/or oil slick as this would be considered a "normal wear and tear item". Please note - the oil slick effect is created through a "coating" process...and is therefore not a permanent application...over time the coating may begin to peel off with use.
· Maintenance warranty plan
Covers the following situations: the product has been modified, not used as specified, not maintained as specified, has normal wear and tear, has been crashed or hit, incorrectly installed, repeatedly installed, or used for other purposes than the original design of the product.
·SLF Motion will be responsible for all repair and warranty cases, and SLF Motion will review each case one by one.
·We only use coated ceramic bearings (Hybrid ceramic bearings) in SLF Motion’s Pulley Wheels. It is recommended that the bearings be maintained after 1200-1600 kilometers of use. Detailed maintenance must be done every six months. If it is in a severely dusty, sandy, muddy or rainy and humid environment, it is recommended to shorten the maintenance period to three months. Please use neutral detergent and soak for cleaning.
Whether oiling is required during maintenance depends on the environment.
For use on road bikes where the highest performance is required, we recommend "no oiling" simply because our coated steel races are aerospace grade.
Some customers have mentioned that the "dry" pulleys are too "noisy". If this is the case, we recommend that a drop of light oil may eliminate any noise. For off-road (and gravel) applications we recommend running the pulleys with grease.
· Product warranty regulations are all in accordance with the original manufacturer's regulations.
