Two-year limited warranty on SRM PowerMeters and PowerControl
New SRM products are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for two years from the date of purchase.
During this period, SRM will, at its option, repair or replace any component that fails during normal use. Such repairs or replacements will be made at no cost to the original owner/customer for parts or labor, but the customer will be responsible for any necessary shipping charges.
This warranty does not apply to:
1. Cosmetic damage such as scratches, nicks and dents
2. Damage caused by improper bicycle installation
3. Damage caused by improper installation by unauthorized SRM dealers
4. Damage caused by collision, accident, abuse, misuse, fire or other external causes
5. Damage caused by services performed by non-SRM authorized service representatives
6. Damage to products modified or altered without SRM’s written permission
In addition, SRM reserves the right to deny warranty claims for products or services that it deems to be fraudulent.
SRM's related products also come with a one-year limited warranty.
The associated product warranty does not cover normal wear and tear and is limited to products purchased and installed from an SRM Service Center or an authorized SRM dealer.
If the associated product OEM manufacturer warranties its product for more than one year, warranty coverage will apply (see the respective manufacturer's website for details).
Items covered by this associated product warranty include: chainrings, chainring bolts, crank arms, bottom brackets, accessory mounts, magnets, speed pods and ball bearings.
Attempting to service or turn on the PowerMeter or PowerControl product yourself will void the warranty!
Each SRM has a tamper-evident seal to prevent unauthorized service.
